Strut top bearings
« on: June 24, 2021, 07:37:47 PM »

I have stripped the first of my front struts and the thrust bearing, seats and seal are in good enough condition
but was full of dirt. Now washed out with petrol, it feels ok.

Is there a recommended grease to repack with?

Thanks, Nigel

Hi Nigel

No idea on recommended, but I used waterproof grease on mine. You are lucky to have ones in good condition. I spent ages finding new ones and even then I had to reuse some parts.
