Just a quick question: I have a new grille badge for my Spyder but wanted to see if there was any specific issues to watch out for when swapping it over?  Is it straightforward?

Hi

It is normally held on with two nuts, which do rust, so steady with the socket and plenty of easing oil if they are.

Thanks Peter - is it easier to take off the grille to do the swap, or do it in situ?

Personally I would take off the grill if you can get it off without having to loosen the bonnet.

I'd take off the grille for easy access to the back. If the nuts look at all corroded I'd be tempted to cut the nuts off as close to the threads as you can get away with using a Dremel. If you do both sides then the nut will fall off and you can run tap down what's left to clean it up.
