Hi guys.
I have a stainless system from Mark on my 81 Spyder which has been on the car for circa 3 years now and I have been very pleased with the look of it  the performance and sound.
However,  there might arguably be a case for an extra bracket on the long section coming from the flexi stainless section as the flexi seems to be taking the strain.
There does not however seem to be a place on the car to hang one. Not sure whether there was one originally and its gone missing over the years or that the oem system design didn't need one.
Has anyone else found this and solved the problem already?

Cheers
C

Hi Chris

On the two piece systems there was no flexi as far as I know and not bracket to support the run from the down pipe to the centre horizontal box.

On my system which is a two piece, I installed a small length of flexi to allow for engine movement which works fine without needing any extra support.

I guess it all depends on how long and where the flexi is installed?
