Hi, there’s a coupe on eBay that looks suspiciously like a HiFi...
Search “Lancia Beta Coupe x2 for restoration” on eBay.
It’s a 2000 auto and it’s red, it’s got the big rear spoiler and HiFi-looking stripes.
Just looks a bit unusual....
Sadly I’m not in a position to buy but it could be worth looking in to.

Drew

Personally I have my doubts that it is a hifi the stripes are incorrect and there is no badging evident. I would agree that it is probably a hifi spoiler though.

HiFis weren't automatic either.

I thought that but I'm not sure there's hard evidence on that or not? They were pulled from old stocks so I suppose it's not inconceivable that they'd do an auto if one was on the relevant field. I'm fairly sure this car has been on sale somewhere else in the not too distant past and I discussed it at length with another Beta fan and we concluded that it wasn't a HiFi

The advertising brochure states 5 speed manual gearbox. Although I've seen some variations from the details pictured in the brochure I've never seen or heard of an automatic.

The stripes on the rear quarter should extend the full length of the end of the rear spoiler.

The badges would be missing too as I believe they were substituted by the HiFi ones
