Hiya, my mechanic has made a good repair for the broken window winder mechanism in my Beta, using 3D printing tech.  If anyone else would like such a thing, please let me know and I can put you in touch with Mark the Mech.

I add that he also made me a gear linkage using the 3D tech - very useful stuff.

There are a few pieces of trim I'd be interested in. How do you provide the template for the printing?

This was a plastic cog within the winder mechanism IIRC.  I know nothing about making stuff with printers.

if it is the cog which attaches to the handle spindle (this cog normally wears) then I thought they were made of metal?
