Hi All,

OK made a classic boo boo, removed instrument cluster to fix dead bulb syndrome, marked back of instruments with small sticker for where the red wiring loom connects… replaced all bulbs cleaned all connectors etc. Went back to refit into car next day (hate short winter days!) and then realised little sticker is no longer attached… having just turned 50 and with a rapidly failing brain I cannot remember where the red cable goes!

Checked wiring diagrams in usual places and none show the late model set-up. Apart from a later US Spec diagram but don't trust that as they have a black connector - block 71.

Guess I need to follow the wire colours and go by them?

Help appreciated please, don't want to plug them the wrong way and bugger the cluster!
Technical info: Lancia Beta Coupe RHD 1982/3 2000ie

Many thanks.

Here's a string from when I got in the same mess;

Sounds like some of the ie wiring might be different (though not sure why), but hopefully it will be some help.

Now have to wait for weekend to solve the issue (lovely winter evenings!).

Will have to work out the wiring colours and go by them rather than block colours me thinks!

Love Lancia colour coding:

A=Light Blue B=White C=Orange G=Yellow etc… very logical  Undecided Undecided
