After just under two years re-commissioning work my Beta Coupe is finally running how I had hoped it would;  in fact I'm sure its running better now than when I bought it in 1990!  The warm weather has been a good test of the cooling system and fortunately everything seems fine.   Its great to finally enjoy some warm dry weather and some wonderful drives out.

Did an 80 mile round trip this morning up across the hills in "Bronte Country" and the Lancs/Yorks border.   A few pics from this morning ........

Looking really good.

So satisfying to be out on a sunny day in a car that FINALY works as it should. There's always something to tinker with of course but to have it so you know you can just hop in and go for a spin is special.

Looks like it could have done with some company though - some great spots up there for pictures.

The car look wonderful, as does the weather!
What would really set it off though is a matching blue HPE in similar condition (nose to nose).

Possibly better than any marketing pictures produced by Lancar at that time?
Enjoy.
