Guys, not sure if I've posted on this subject before, but my 77 2.0 Coupe has an electric fuel pump sitting under a very factory-looking vented cover in front of the RH rear wheel. The previous owner told me that he thought it may be on the way out, and that under full throttle the car did indeed seem to run out of fuel and die a bit, and recovered when you backed off, but this of course could be multiple fuel or ignition issues.
My question is what would be a suitable replacement?
Most of the Beta's I've seen an d researched have the mechanical pump on the engine, but my fuel pump looks distinctly original.
Any thoughts?

Any of the Facet pumps would do the job. These seem to be the choice of Fulvia owners.

From memory among the different models silver top red top etc there are two types of Facet pump - some are designed/suitable for Carbs and some for Fuel Injected - it's all down to pressure ...

I have also installed a Facet Silver Top in the convenient space to the right of the fuel tank. I fabricated a little support for it.

In addition I fitted a conveniently sized fuel filter that is located on the rear cross member and a Filter King pressure regulator/filter in the engine compartment. This is a good idea because otherwise the fuel pump will overwhelm the float valves in the carbs and there will be much leakage with attendant smell and fire hazard.

Here are a couple of photos. Sorry I can't grovel under the car at the moment and access is a bit restricted.
