Title: Transmission Fluid.
Post by: Sandro on March 04, 2019, 12:35:14 PM
Hi,

Last year I re-commissioned an 84 2000 I.E. that had been laid up for a bit,
I discovered afterward that the Transmission fluid hadn't been changed and I'd like to do this,
does anyone know what brand / rating might be suitable ? ( I'm moving the car to Denmark, so colder winters )

Thanks for any assistance,

It's nice to have the forum back up, ( I realize how much I use & miss it, I'll drop in a donation )

Andrew

If it is manual gearbox tutela ZC90, avoid any with EP additives as they corrode the brass parts. I believe that fiat professional or iveco (van) dealers may stock ZC90. There are other options but I'm not sure of them, someone else will no doubt advise.

Thank you rossocorsa for your help,
I'll order some ZC90.

I'll be doing the Anti-freeze also while I'm there.
probably Paraflu if I can find some.

Thanks again,

Andrew.

Hi

See this thread and Eric's response for Redline, I know he has recommended it a few times.
