Title: Series 2/FL Grill. Post by: gengis on February 26, 2013, 09:42:13 PM I'm looking into fitting a series 2/FL grill to my 1982 coupe ie. (I think it looks better) I have an old grill and plastic headlight bezels which I was sizing up tonight. Is there a difference in the bonnet hinges? my hinges are cranked. Would I need a set of series 2 hinges? which I assume would be flatter. Also would that be the only issue when trying to fit a series 2 grill to a series 3 front?

Now that I'm going to fit series 2 grill, I have a small issue... there is no slotted holes in the front panel to accept the bottom of the grill. Is there anyone out there who can give me a measurement of the distance between the slotted holes and the front panel? Or a photo would help.
