I also want to clarify sizes for new male fittings, as there seem a range available - are they 10mm x 1.25mm or 1mm? From bitter experience last night, a proper spanner for the fittings seems a good investment too. On the plus side, all 4 bleed nipples at the front are working fine. Thanks again. Pipes- I would go with copper/nickel or what it's often known as, kunifer. Copper goes brittle with age and often gets a 'furry' appearance. Kunifer tends to resist this strange effect and stays looking 'as new'. Kunifer is quite a lot stronger too whilst still easily shaped for bends etc. Andrew. |
