Whats the plan with the white 1600 Jon?  Keep it sell it?

Why two 1600 FL's?

I'm just curious ;D

cheers all
hope to see some of you at the agm (sunday)
as to your curiosity Matt- i'm sure you have had a moment of madness come over you at some point - i got greedy maybe-just like having another slice of cake!
the other half is making noises to part with one so that time may be approaching.the white beta is actually my prefered choice in spite of an aftermarket period sunroof for which a webasto roof has been considered despite costs.(i checked with R&S Coachbuilts- the apperture at the moment is smaller than that required to convert).ironically Matt, you will, judging by your swift progress have two betas running soon.
restoration done
1.both rear turrets rewelded
2.one cill end to rear wheel arch end rewelded (castle section inside ok)
3 the major job - perforated rust around windscreen surround rewelded
4.underside of car extensively rustproofed inc Furtan, etch primer, paint, underseal, waxoyl.
5.all wheel arches underseal & waxoyl plus waxoyl to cills/door bottoms and so on.
i have many photos of the corrosion and step by step repairs regarding the windscreen surround which i will bring to the agm & other future events for your interest. Matt will be all to familiar with this subject.

I take my hat off to you Jon, a man who let's his heart rule over the head when it comes to Beta Coupes.

I look forward to seeing the White coupe in the flesh, if it's as good as your blue car then I'm sure I won't be disappointed.
