Hey all.

My 78 spyder came fitted with a later grille like lanciamads hpe on the right in the pic (diy fitted with homemade light covers and mounting points),and i wanted to turn it back to original, like the red one on the left

Now i have 2 spare original grills and light covers to suit but, when i offer the grilles up,the bonnet hinges are well and truely in the way.....also,they obscure two of the proper mounting holes. What gives here? Are there two different types of bonnet hinges?

TIA

You need the bonnet hinges from the early car too.  I have a spare pair.
