1975 Beta coupe 2L

« on: July 26, 2010, 11:10:07 AM »

Does any one know where I can obtain a quick rack kit for my non PAS TRW rack? I realise it is going to make the steering even heavier, but as I know have arms like Popeye, I think it will be more beneficial for my coupe which I use for sprints, hillclimbs etc. I am getting fed up with the arm twirling required in tight turns with the manual rack.

I seem to remember reading somewhere Eric had a quick rack kit in his spyder some time ago?

Any help on this would be great, as I am pulling the engine out for a full rebuild (more power!!!!), and would like to do the rack at the same time.

No success yet, although have not been looking too hard lately.......busy fitting catch tank, relocate battery, fit battery isolator etc. Roll cage next!

I know that years ago demon tweaks listed them, there's a need to find an old catalogue to see who made them
