Also why do i have to log in with my password everytime i visit the forum even thought it states i shoulg be logged in forever?

Many thanks, Barry

There's probably many ways of attaching pics. into the text, the way I do it, is to upload the pics. into www.photobucket.com, once uploaded each pic. is given an IMG Code, if you copy this code onto the forum, the picture should show wherever you put the code in, click preview to confirm it's worked.
Don't know about the log in, even though it shows i'm logged in sometimes i've still got to log in again to view and post certain things.

Hi Barry

Welcome to the forum

Info on adding photos to the gallery and reducing image size can be found here:
http://www.betaboyz.myzen.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=164.0

as Marcus says, the easiest way to put a photo into your post would be to use a third party photo hosting company, I use www.flickr.com free to join

once you have uploaded your photo, select your photo,
you will see a page like this:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/tonysphotos/4414177075/#in/set-72157623573959944/

click on the tab all sizes,

I have set the maximun forum image size to 800x800, so click on the Medium tab

scroll down the page and find "Grab the photo's URL:"

copy the URL "http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4068/4414177075_1ebfa80786.jpg"

once you have copied this, find the place in your post you want to insert the photo, click on the icon which looks like a picture frame.

All you need to do is paste the whole URL between the ] [

the other way is to select Additional Options...  at the bottom of your post, and click browse
this will upload the image from your computer, the only down side of using this method is it uses more of our bandwidth. again the size limit is 800x800.

Regarding loging in:

I find if I login using the URL www.betaboyz.co.uk or www.betaboyz.com (which are redirected addresses) sometimes my user details are not remembered.

Try using the direct link http://www.betaboyz.myzen.co.uk/forum my details are always remembered  Huh? using this address.

Hope this makes sence

Cheers
Tony,
