Dear All,

Have any of you ever used, or do you know of anyone who has used this company (www.avanti-motorsport.com) who are based in Street in Somerset? I have a '81 2ltr Spider that I am looking to add a little extra zip to and they are reasonably close to me. Any other advice on who to look at would be greatly appreciated also.

Thanks in advance, Steve

I've heard mixed reviews from people over the years, but they seemed ok when I bought some camshafts from them last year. Obviously Guy Croft is who you want if you've got plenty of money, the work is top class though.
I know of a good place locally to you for more routine work, but there isn't really any specialist company for modified engine bits in the south west.

I'm guessing that they either are or are in someway linked to redmistracing that appear on E-Bay every so often.

I too have heard very mixed reports. Evocorner  ( http://forums.delphiforums.com/evoforum/start ) - the Integrale forum - may have had more experience of them and be able to comment.

I have been advised that they are good for spare parts but their engineering is questionable.
