True, but interesting nonetheless.  Maybe we should split this thread up or better still make better use of the gallery?

At present the Gallery areas are restricted to:
Members Cars
Events photos
Members Project Cars
BetaBoyz Projects
Technical related photos / diagrams

Maybe we could have two additions?
Beta Image Chronicles
Beta Oddities

(or a better word)

Why is there no dialogue in the Gallery?

Every image has a Comments field at the bottom.

well I suppose so but it doesn't really flow like a discussion thread, you are right though that a beta orientated general gallery slot would be good, I attempted to do some in my album on lancisti a while back but lost enthusiasm

Going a bit off topic from the original subject now, but sounds like a plan Tony. Wink
Be nice if people, posted pics. in the gallery, and then started a post in the members cars section, http://www.betaboyz.myzen.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=60.0 about it; might start some banter between everyone, instead of us usual 5 or 6  Grin
Don't know whether anyone's been following the work being done on a spyder on the retro-rides forum, but i've badgered him to get a post going on here, some decent new metal going into it, would get some interest going on the forum, i'm sure.

Thank you for the tip on Retro Rides. I will be looking shortly as I have had a major Beta Spyder shell restoration done for my fuel injected VX Beta Spyder. This is a major project even by my crazy standards, but the VX Engine is done. Just the FI install and plumbing a complete suspension, brake and hub rebuild a respray and rebuild to go!

Eric
PS Where did the owner of the Red VX get that bumper and is there a mould still in existance?

That, I believe, is a bodykit made by 'Stratton', whoever they were. Anyone got one? Looks awesome.
