Good day all,

A question for VX owners: where does the top of the
dipstick tube bolt to?
I suspect there's an additional bracket somewhere which I'll
have to make. I'm not even sure in which direction the tube points.

Thanks,
Nigel

Dipstick tube points toward the fuse box behind the end of the exhaust cam. Tube itself bolts via a L shaped bracket on the top end of the tube to what i can only describe as a triangular shaped plate that bolts onto the distributor adaptor at the distributor end of the exhaust cam box with a 10mm nut and bolt - its exactly the same as an injection car. Look at the back of the distributor and it should be there unless its missing?

Thanks hutch.

The gearbox is going into a carb car ,so no distributor up there. I'll figure out
somewhere to fix it to.

Regards
