That looks incredible! Museum quality! to my mind it's only missing a mirror on the passenger door.

SanRemo, thanks for your good wishes and warm words, good idea (about a missing mirror on the passenger door), i would add a right mirror only in the case that i must repair my right door ... i now, i could attach a door with allready instaled mirror, but i want to keep the originality of a car, that's been made in 1980 (S2 FL, or MK III) ...

I agree Guy, great condition. I'm sure that a passenger side mirror would have been
a factory option, so would not affect originality.

Thanks for your fine opinion, Nigel. The car is a sleeper. It was hiden for 27 years in a private garage in Rome. i was just plain lucky to find and buy this car.
My friend has told me that i'm not avere how good my find is, because the car is practically a new old car with really very little amount of rust. Here are some pictures of the underpinnings ... And i have to find a way how to clean the motor bay from the rest of rust protection liquide, because it doesn't look nice ...
