Can anyone tell me how the side vents are supposed to be fixed in place? I've just removed one from my Coupe with a view to replacing it and it was held in place with sikoflex. There appear to be 3 locating pins - are they just a push-fit or is there something at the other side holding them?

Thanks!

Carl

Yes they are push fit but often the metal pegs in the plastic vent rust themselves into the car sockets. When you try to remove them, they can break off.

At least that’s how they’re fixed on my S2 and S3 coupes. Not sure about the early cars.

Thanks Ian. You've confirmed what I thought. The holes have the broken-off lugs from the old vents, so I might try and carefully drill them out.
