Hello
I have seen on the web various manuals covering the Weber carburettor. With so many available I wondered if there is one in  particular  that could be recommended

Hi Alan.
Good question.
I am interested in one too but the ones on ebay I checked out, although the years covered seemed probably include the carb I am interested in, didn't cover my Weber 34 Datr.

Hello Clifford
Do you have the Haynes manual ? For the Beta there is a chapter covering the Weber and Solex carbs. If you need it I can copy the necessary pages for you.
I just thought a specific manual might go into greater detail but there are several on the market and you don’t know which  to go for.

Apart from the general Haynes Beta manual there are 2 different Haynes Weber manuals. One  says it covers carbs up to 1979 and the other 1979-1991. The latter says it includes DATR and mentions as fitted to Betas.

Regards to specific Weber Haynes books, as said by Mike, the really common green doesn't cover DATR/DAT.
The red one (1979-1991) is really rare (I could grab one at 20 £, which is pretty low), and covers them.
I can still provide some copies .
