Does anyone know of a reliable source for this type of in-line filter? For years I've bought them off ebay but recently I have been ripped off twice. The item picture showed this type but then the smaller cheaper conical type was supplied, with the first seller refusing a return. Couldn't believe that two completely unassociated suppliers were running the same scam. The cheap filters even both had 'Ford Transit' on the label....

Hi Neil

You can get your money back via Ebay, have done it several times and if mis-sold then you will have little problem.

I prefer the clear filters so you can see what is going on.

Try Fuel System Enterprises AKA Glencoe. They are the main supplier to most of the motorsport/ kit car suppliers. Also have a look at Car Builder Solutions.
