While I was in France I remembered to retrieve a number of Beta parts and bring them back to the UK for refurbishment and re-use. I also brought back some parts that I couldn't identify, or wasn't sure what model they came from. If anyone can identify the parts below and where they fit, I'd be very grateful. I know the alloy casting is the engine breather, but could anyone identify what model it's from (i.e. is it from a 1.6 or 2.0 engine)? I can't make out any part number and the parts book indicates there were two distinct variants.

The two washers on the LH side are upper and lower views of the same part. The rusty piece with the slot in it I would hazard a guess to be one of the engine hoist hooks, but where does it fix to? And the washer on the RH side with the lip that doesn't run all the way round has me beaten.

Lastly I have a very chunky washer that I can't identify. It's 32 mm o.d, 10.3 mm i.d, and no less than 5.6 mm thick! Would this be an engine mount washer?

Thanks for all responses in advance.

Hi

The rusty piece is a hoist hook, failing another photo, I can take one of their position on mine over the next couple of days.

The thick washer sounds like one of the seat runner spacers.

The odd washer on the right I have seen, but cannot remember where from......  (carb maybe?)

The thick washer with the lip sits on the cam belt tensioner bearing beneath a heavy weight washer. The breather height will identify is it is 1600 or 2000. 2000 are taller and straight sided. "NB VX types are larger for even more breathing.

The washer on the right I am not sure about but it looks like on of the washer that goes over the bush in the alternator tensioning arm.

Enjoy

Thanks Eric and Pete, much appreciated. All those suggestions ring true. Total height of the breather from the basr to the bolt hole is 56 mm. Height of the main body of the breather is 42 mm (all measurements +/- 0.5mm). Breather body is straight sided (i.e. sides of main body are parallel), so hopefully that identifies it as a 2000. I've ordrered a new breather hose from BetaBoyz, so I guess when I offer the breather and hose up to the block for fitting all will become apparent.
