Thought i'd share this.

I had 2 annoying cracks in the drivers side under-dash plastic. I found that regular solvent
cement typically used to 'weld' plumbing waste systems is compatible.

So I found some equally matching bits of plastic [in my case,Altro White Rock,used to line the walls of
commercial kitchens] and stuck it all together with liberal amounts of cement. The stuff I had is 4mm
thick, thinner bits would probably also work fine.

It needs an overnight to cure fully,and then a small clean-up with a dremel.
The end result is purely functional,it's invisible, and not necessarily pretty!
A few light coats of matt spray paint ends the fix.
