Hi-

My name is David and I just bought an 81 Lancia Beta Zagato Spyder.  I fell in love with a red Beta Coupe in 1990; it only took me 30 years to get around to having one.

My other car is a 67 MGBGT.

I look forward to visiting, learning and helping.

Hi Dave

Welcome to the forum, photos of your car would be interesting!

You will find a lot of useful information here should you need it.

Of course that would be helpful!  I am in MD.

I am very excited to have my first Beta and was really happy to find this site.

Here is a pic of my car taken by the prior owner.  It should be here in about three weeks.

Dave

I like the matching white wheels. Sets it off nicely.

I was going to say you should look out for some euro-spec bumpers but I see you've beaten me to it!

If you've got a square registration plate on the back bumpers are available with a cut out to suit. They do come up on e-bay every so often but you may have to be patient as I think the bumpers are different widths per model - so a rear coupe one may not fit a spider.  Have a search on the forum you may well find out.

If you get one with damaged rubbers they also come up every occasionally. I think the Euro spec ones were used in Australia and South Africa too so worth talking to Felix at Lancia.co.za
