Hi Beta Fans

Has anyone got a proven technique for cleanly removing the metal insets around the indicators on the bumper rubbers to make and fit replacements? I am trying to build up 2 good front bumpers and have the mounts re built and a solution for the fixing studs.
It would be great to be able to carefully remove the one rusty section and make and fit a replacement.

I am concerned I might trash the whole bumper rubber trying.

Wise advise gratefully received.
