Hello all,
Having been on this forum for only a year or so and never having posted I think the FOR SALE section may be blocked for my use as regards to selling.
I'm sorry that my first post is to sell a car but rather here to your members than on e-bay.

1982 Beta Coupe 2000 I.E.

I purchased this car last year with the intention of enjoying fun track days with my Ford escort friends. I am no stranger to Lancia having owned a few over the years including a lovely fulvia sport Zagato.
With hindsight I think I paid well over the odds for this car but they seemed to be selling at higher prices at the time. I purchased unseen which was not my plan but that's another story.

Body -  Very good. Had its first glass out repaint a couple of years ago.
Floors, cills, bulk head and inner wings are excellent. There is lots of evidence of wax oil or similar.
All outer panels are straight and near rust free. Wheel arches are excellent with sharp edges
There is some minor bubbling on lower rear panel and a small area on the bonnet leading edge. The boot lid also has some minor bubbling and will need a repaint.
Inside the boot where the drain pipe exits through a rubber grommet there is also minor corrosion.
At present the carpet and seats are out so you can see the fine condition of all inside metalwork and inner panels.
I have been round this car with a magnet and can only find one small area of filler mid drivers door.
No bumpers.
This car really does look wonderful in Lancia red. Needs minor work and preservation.

Interior-
I have purchased new Cobra historic RSR seats x 2. Black vinyl with black cord centres and head rest + sliding sub frames.
I have also purchased new Nardi competion leather rimmed steering wheel and boss.
These items cost approx £1000.00.
The dash is lovely as is the head lining although the sun roof trim will need attention.
Door cards etc are good.

Engine- 109000 miles but history shows regular care. New cam belt recently fitted. No smoke on start up. Does need a good clean up and fluid change.
Gear box fine but again would need fresh oil.

Brakes- Work well but I would suggest new disc and caliper rebuilds.

Suspension- Works fine but could do with a strip, clean, re-furb and re- bush.

Wheels- new paint with good matching tyres , although there age suggest replacement.

Reason for sale- To finish my 1978 Ducati 900SS bevel rebuild.

Price- £3000 firm, far less than I paid. I also would like interested people to see this car before purhase please.

I will send pics  by e-mail please feel free to ask questions.

Thanks for looking.
Regards,
Paul.
Kent.

Paul,

Can you give us a clue as to where the car is?

A pic or two wouldn't go amiss either.

Hello Stuart,
The car is in Kent. I still need to take some pics which I will do on Monday as I'm at work all W/E.
