Hi folks, looking for guidance as to how the dipstick tube locates.  There is a tab with a hole at mid length presumably to bolt to something .... What?

Have been working on engine bay and suffering from memory loss, any advice greatly appreciated

Andrew

Only obvious securing point that corresponds is one of the bolts holding the fuel pump?  Cannot remember this when dismantling and whilst it fits and locates perfectly somehow doesn't seem right?   Help ....Huh??

Hi Andrew, I've recently had my fuel pump off and I am pretty sure the dipstick does bolt to one of the holes to the pump.

Many thanks for confirming - can't believe I could forget this!
