Hi , I've tried asking on the cooling thread but to no avail so will try on here in the hope someone can help ..
Near the water pump behind the block are two pipes next to each other coming out ..left hand one goes to carb , where does the right hand one end up? It's around twice the width of the other one and is longest pipe in engine . Guessing a heater hose of sorts ...

Please help !!

Hi. Yes - If I remember, it goes to the shorter of the two heater hoses coming through the bulkhead. You almost have to attach and detach it as the engine is going in or out, as it's quite hard to get to when the engine is in place. It may be easier if you have ramps though I guess.

Hi many thanks for your reply . I have a slightly different set up but the two outlets are the same as on mine . My question is , where does the other end go from the wider of the two outlets ?
Wish I could post pic on here but it's not letting me ..

Through the bulkhead to the heater control valve
