Hi all good site , I have just  purchased a 1978 beta 2.0 spider  . Last owner 22 yrs I am based in the west of Ireland and it's being delivered next week
Can't wait
Need a centre box for the exhaust and hopefully nothing else
Will put on som pics soon
Looking forward to picking your brains in the future

Welcome to the forum. You will find lots of help and expertise here, whatever the issue.

If you can upload some photos of the car, that would be a good start as you say. Mark at  Betaboyz will be able to help with many parts issues.

Is that the red one from Northampton?

If so it looks well bought  - you might just get away with a recommissioning. But please change the cambelt!

I was eyeing that car up on line! Looked nice but really difficult to tell from the limited info. Well done on snapping it up hope it turns out well for you, rare colour by the look look of it rosso Brighton???

Thanks all yes it is the one from Northampton, same owner 22 years dry garage
No rust , was restored before he bought it
Does have some paint issues where it has blistered but fixable
Is it a rare colour , it's certainly  a nice red
Needs a middle box
Found a complete ansa system
Car being shipped over to Ireland tomorrow , can't wait it's show Time
Tried to load pics but it refused me  Angry

It might be that there's a minimum 10 post limit before you can add pics or perhaps they were too big. One of the mods may be able to advise.

Hi

Tony may know more, but appears that even new members can post attachments. There is a a limit to the size (1500Kb), so suggest keeping them to around 150Kb each is a good idea and should give reasonable resolution. Most modern cameras will generate reasonably large sized images, so you will most likely have to resize them.

Let me know if you still have an issue

Peter is correct, max file size should be below 1500kb and width less than 1000px
