Hi All

Anyone have a source of the under bonnet insulation?

My old insulation is falling to bits and I need to replace.

Hi Peter

I know the Beta Boyz website used to sell a new liner because I bought 1 but not sure if they are still available.

Peter

I have a Betaboyz under bonnet liner that I didn't use in the end when I fitted my new bonnet. I think it was £70, yours for £50 if you want it.

Looks nicer if you just repaint the bonnet underside real shiny, those bonnet mats are a pain

I took my tired insulation to un upholsterer, who patched the missing parts and covered the mat on both sides with a new temperature resistant black material. In a results the shape and style of the insulation mat is maintained and looks almost like new.

Very nice Lukas.

On the early cars it is not contoured, so the one from Mark will be good for me. I think the early one was held by self tapping screws, where the later was held by plastic clips?

Looks very good, Lukas and is an excellent idea. There's a guy I know not too far from me (Tony Archer in Huddersfield)  who does a lot of retrimming for cars and bikes; I'm sure he could do something like that for mine.

I refurbished it a few years ago and it is still in the same shape. In reality it looks even better than on the picture attached above.
