Hi, took my '81 2000 coupe for a run tonight and noticed that after just 10 minutes of town driving (not above 30mph) the oil temperature needle was in the red. All other gauges are showing perfectly normal, good oil pressure, water temperature etc. Any ideas what might be causing this and should I be worried?

Certainly needs checking out, but I would suspect a faulty sensor or gauge.
