Took the mighty Coupe to work this morning for his first blast (commute) of the year.

A fresh tank of fuel (first since the BetaMeta 14 in September) then headed South on the B1257 from near Stokesley.  After just a couple of miles it's a climb up onto the Yorkshire Moors then about 20 miles along stunning fast sweeping roads out to Helmsley; a further 25 miles gets you to to Malton then the B1248 towards Beverley.  I continued on over the Humber Bridge to beyond Lincoln, just over 140 miles total, but that initial Yorkshire Moors stretch in the early spring sunshine was utterly breathtaking.

Reverse route on Friday... and the weather’s looking good too.  Can’t wait!

BetaMeeta15 in North Yorkshire perhaps?  At least have a look at your road maps and see where it is!

No need to sell North Yorkshire to me- the wife may even come along!

May cost me a few quid in a nice B & B though if she gets a chance for a few days up there!

I'm up for North Yorks. As I'm nearby I'm happy to help Chris organise it too?

MOT on Thursday, so fingers crossed for my first proper drive since Betameeta too!

Not much change of me taking a blast yet, VX still very much in bits but I wouldn't mind a North Yorkshire jaunt in the recently lancia-ised chrysler delta.

If you've changed the front grille that has got to earn it a place in the line up I would have thought?

I feel an 'option' coming together here but as a mere junior member I'll sit tight while the Betaboyz Execs come on board. It maybe there are other venues out there so I await your approval to proceed.

Anyhow, I'm more than willing to coordinate a North Yorkshire venue and will happily put a plan together to include gentle scenic routes, steam trains, tea rooms and an optional early morning 'follow me' drive (I like empty roads!) along sweeping B roads and through some spectacular countryside.

Standing by.

'Betaboyz Execs' eh.....

Was not aware we had a class system here?

I reckon your view counts just as much as anyone and if you are prepared to put some work in for it, then you get my vote (biased as not a million miles from Yorkshire and do like the moors).

Steady on chaps -  we are dangerously close to having organised ourselves here!

Haven't even got mine re-taxed yet!

Seriously though, sounds great.
