Betaboyz are looking into the reproduction of the rear spoiler for the VX Coupe

Sadly at the moment a rubber spoiler is way to expensive, but we have had a rough price to produce them out of glass fibre.

The mould would be taken from a brand new patern, in 3 sections and stainless steel inserts for the fixings using the original holes

with the tooling we would need to sell these for around £120 per set,

To get the project going we would need at least 5 confirmed orders, we have two at the moment.
any one iterested please add you name to list below or drop me an email: t_harrison3@sky.com

Thanks
Tony,

Not sure how this differs from the original but just came across this, could perhaps be modified? ... http://www.midwest-bayless.com/storefrontprofiles/DeluxeSFItemDetail.aspx?sid=1&sfid=208227&c=192712&i=251698780

These seem to be located in Columbus Ohio, where my company head office is located. Had I known about this when I was there in June I would have bought one/some back.

At circa £100 a go it's gotta be better than re-inventing the wheel.

Still might be worth enquiring how many they have in stock.

Hi, just an update on spoilers, tooling is being made now by a small company that makes the bodywork for the Ariel Atom. As the mould is being taken from a Lester spoiler there were no places for badges but now will be moulded with badge recesses.. Having had a good long talk with someone at NEC, looks like we can replicate the badges, other than the Lancia and Volumex ones, look to have 2000, 1600 and maybe 2000IE made too. Prices and details , go to the Parts Blog on LBP website ( click on page3 ).
Regards
Mark
