Does anyone have any tips on how to SAFELY remove the reservoir from the brake master cylinder.
I HAD four cylinders c/w reservoirs and broke the spigots off two of them, one off each, while trying to remove them.
I'm running out and fearful of having none at all left when I rebuild the cylinder.
Help!!!

I dropped mine in a lage pan of hot water to soften the rubber bungs. It worked for me but I may just have got lucy.

If it all goes horribly wrong I have a spare reservior you'd be welcome too.

I just pulled it out in hands and separated the reservoir with no problem, but warming up a bit should make it easier and safier.

This is what I call an "oh, yeah" moment when people tell you something so obvious you can only reply Oh, yeah.
A good time to add "thanks" as well.
And thanks for the offer of the reservoir Stuart.
I'll know tomorrow whether I need it or not
