With no rooms at the hotel where the LMC Committee meets on the 28th, and Travelodges etc. pretty expensive in the area, I've decided to go camping! Yes, late in the year and it will be either raining or Baltic!

In the unlikely event that anyone wants to join me I'm booked in at;

Twitey's Tipis and Camping Meadows
Lowe Farm
Hunscote
Wellesbourne
Warwickshire CV35 9EX.

Only small, but well written up in reviews.

Camping is not for me I'm afraid....  Undecided

But I've managed to book into the Falcon Inn  Wink They must have had a cancellation  Cheesy Maybe all of us staying in the area can have dinner at the Falcon Inn on Saturday night? Their restaurant seems quite good (http://thefalconathatton.com/dining/

Theo

Yes, I'll pitch my tent as part of the drive round then join you in the evening. The plan is certainly coming together.

Good luck Theo's Trevi.

BTW if anyone has a spare wishbone lying about they'd like to bring (with bushes in place) I need one to play with!

OK, I'm now booked at the Austin Guest House (http://www.austinguesthouse.co.uk/) although I won't be too surprised if they contact me tomorrow to say that Laterooms.com were wrong again to take the booking. Following the weekend's disaster and dead Gamma engine on the way to the Gamma Consortium AGM and Rally I need to save my pennies so at £23.50 for the night the Austin Guest House seems ideal  Cheesy

Lunch before the drive sounds good to me so we should probably have a count of all those attending (and wanting lunch) and book a table for lunch. I can contact the Hatton Arms and book a table if I know how many of us are going to be there.

I plan to arrive in my Coupe at 1130, meet as many fellow Beta associates as possible and join you all for lunch. A blast around some local roads later will round things off nicely for me before returning to 'The North'.

Same plan for me, 11.30 at the pub, lunch and a tour.

No longer have to dash back early early so can complete the tour.

Yes and no, you did miss me off, but now I can't make it as I'm currently working in Scotland, so it is correct as  far as I'm aware.
