Some of you may remember Fast Lane. Back in the late 80s and early 90s they did some tapes of various cars going round a track with Mark Hales driving and some poor sod from Radio 4 in the passenger seat 'commentating'

Anyway I still have the original of this but not in great condition, thankfully someone has made a good quality recording - enjoy!

Fast Lane 1990 Track Test (Aston Vantage, Porsche 959, Lister Mk3, Lamborghini Countach)

Worth it alone for the sound of Hales ragging the Countach which starts at 31mins.

Wooooaaaahhhh! Thanks for this! I actually still have the original cassette tape of this and I remember listening to it as an early 20s dreamer. Awesome stuff and quite unique at the time.
