Had a look at the microfis ,  VX is 7032541
But no pump listed for the ie ,Maybe ie uses the standard 2000 pump ??
Odly the microfis has another pump listed as 82377590 but no engine size or type linked to it ??

Thanks for that, very interesting.

Well this listing is for than part number and it looks very much like a VX Pump too - so perhaps that was just a later version?

82377590 is a later modification the annotation C7254/D7254 refers. I can't use my fiche reader at the moment so I can't look the alteration '7254' up although tbh the description may not be particularly descriptive! It would appear that one pump replaced all 1.3/1.6 and 2.0 derivatives (but not VX) they did rationalise parts on other items as well such as the clutch release bearing so it's not surprising. Is it just me or does that pump on ebay look painted? I have a vx pump off the car at the moment if I find time I'll take a picture for comparison.

don't know if they are VX  and also not sure if they are OE manufacturer or not but GC doesn't recommend pattern ones

7254 states 'nouva pompa olio e coppa per basamento' new pump and sump

2000 346304
1600 388287
1366 388306

I checked and it seems they changed the sump spec on 1.3 and 1.6 to the same as 2.0 at the same time as introducing the new pump design
