My original boot badges and door handles had black insets or recesses.  Some of the paint has disappeared over the years and while they are off the car I want to paint them black again.  But I'm wondering what paint to use.  Enamel?  or something else ?    If it is some type of enamel paint now if the time to gently bake the parts in the oven while Mrs NoVAT is away on business!

Any tips would be much appreciated.
