Hi All

Quick one, is the downpipe on a Series 1 coupe/spider with the 1600/1800 engine the same as the S2 1600 version?

Thanks

Peter

I am not 100% but I think there is a slight difference in the shape I think that one is straight and one has a slight kink, not sure if that matters or not. No doubt someone else will be along to confirm

Not sure, the S2 is definitely straight and at some point the flexi section was introduced to cut down on vibration and stress on the manifold. I have a straight (non flexi) and a kinked one - ex you Alan. I thought the kinked one was saloon/HPE??
