We're on holiday in Dorest the week before so we'll pop in on the way home, probably early pm - sadly in a Seat Altea rather than anything Italian.

Ticket booked today (whilst I remembered)

Also, if I am supposed to be bringing parts then please feel free to remind me.

Graham R - I'll be bringing your splash panels

Someone also asked if I could bring along the vast amount of wheel centre caps with the " L " logo that I have so they could pick through them for the best ones.

Anything else?

Advance Tickets only available till this Tuesday, see text below copied from Brooklands site.

Who's going?

There will be fast track entry for ticket holders in Italian cars via the Campbell Entrance off Brooklands Road (B374) by the JTI Members Hill office block (Sat Nav KT13 0QN).  Please note that purchase of advance tickets does not guarantee owners of Italian cars space on the Museum site, so early arrival is recommended. If the Museum site is full, there will be overflow parking for Italian cars at Mercedes-Benz World, close to the Museum's Pedestrian Entrance.

Advance tickets may also be purchased by visitors planning to arrive in non-Italian cars, for which parking will be in The Heights off Wellington Way.

Advance tickets will be on sale here until midday Tuesday May 1st.  Please note, all advance tickets purchased will be sent out two to three weeks before the event.

Prices on the day will be Adults £14, Seniors/ Students £12, Children £6 and Families  £35.  Advance tickets for Brooklands Trust Members are on sale for £2 in the Museum Shop or via 0932 857381 ext 268 (£4 on the day).

Sorry chaps, I'll be there!  Grin Recommend the online service - booked Friday and ticket received Saturday.  What time to you recommend getting there?

cheers

Hi Jon
Yes. Then they usually split the queue near the gate into ticket/non-ticket holders.  Then when your past the entrance gate and turned down you will be directed a sharp right.  Looks like we have a really nice position that leads up to the banked track :-)

I forgot to mention.. ..  I know that you all abide by speed limits but brooklands road/caenswood hill leading up to the entrance often has a speed trap so please dont be tempted to race. ive seen people stung here before.

I may be wrong but I have been led to believe they have changed the system this year and its pre-booked only at the Campbell Gate!

I would check direct to be safe.

Hi Mark

Its ok. they assure me its for either.. When it starts to get busy advanced ticket holders will just get 'fast tracked' to quote them. So Campbell Gate if you have an Italian badge or The Heights off Wellington Way for others..  Theres no special entrance for betas .. but i let them off.

Apart from it being a tad cold it turned out to be a good day all in all, met some forum folks so I can put faces to names now, which is always good.

Met up with an old pal of mine from my Integrale racing days (12 years ago) so had a great laugh with him.

Saw some excellent cars and got to be passenger in Andy C's S1 Berlina in the parade laps I've not been in a Berlina for about 25 years and I love the build quality, I wish the Coupes were built that well.

Car behaved herself this week - which is always a bonus :-)

Sorry to have missed you.

My favourite part of the day was the ISO Rivolta going up the hill (or possibly the Green Lambo stalling....) what a great noise.

The ISO certainly put on a good show for the spectators.

He left plenty of rubber on the first 30 - 40 feet of the hill climb!  The noise certainly put a smile on my face  Grin
