The Classic Car Show at the NEC is a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase our Betas. If you have a car that you would like to display on this year's stand, please contact me. I'm after Sedans, Coupes, HPEs and Spiders in good condition - original or modified.
I look forward to hearing from you!
John

Your Beta Photos Needed!!
This will be our 7th year at the NEC (time flys) Smiley

We again have 4 very nice cars lined up, but thought it would be nice to include lots more.
We’ve come up with the idea of having a photo wall displaying as many cars/members as possible from hopefully every corner of the world.

Our plan is to print every photo with the owner’s basic details Name/s, graphical location, rough date taken, and put them together to be part of our display.

If you would like a photo of your car at the show, all we ask is for an email containing a recent photo of your Beta, even better if the owner/s can be in the photo.
Email photo/s to Tony Harrison  t_harrison3@sky.com with your name and basic location, dates taken (if known) and we will do the rest!

If attending, please do come over and say hello. We will again be joined by our friends the Lancia Motor Club and the Monte Carlo Consortium so we will be in good company!

Show details are:

NEC Ticket hotline: www.necclassicmotorshow.com
Phone Ticket hotline: 0871 2301088

Single Sat or Sun  Quote code: CLUB11     £15.50
Family Sat or Sun Quote code: CLUBF11  £35.00
Phone Ticket hotline: 0871 2301088

Opening times
Friday November       11th - from 10am - 7pm
Saturday November  12th - from 9am - 7pm
Sunday November    13th - from 9am - 5.30pm

I'm happy to help out manning the stand for a day (ideally Saturday)

I just have to tell work that I cannot spend 2 weeks in Poughkeepsie as it clashes with 1) my wedding anniversay and 2) NEC Classic Car show!

Gotta get your priorities right eh!

Great job Tony.

I would also like to confirm that once again (for the 5th year running I think) the Lancia Motor Club are delighted to cover the cost of carpeting both the Betaboyz stand at the NEC and the Montecarlo Consortium Stand. The LMC will also cover the cost of the Public Liability insurance for Betaboyz and Monte.

As the ad goes - every little helps!

Regards

Thanks Andy

Apologies I should have mentioned the fact that again this year the Lancia Motor Club
are contributing the Carpet/insurance, when the Public see our three displays they see is a collective display of Lancia’s, each year we receive so many comments on how nice it is to
See 3 separate clubs together with no dividing walls, and able to walk freely between the three

Well done LMC/Monte Consortium and Beta Forum Cheesy

Tony

I am signed up with the Montecarlo mob again this year Friday to Sunday, but I think I can raise the energy after the typical social night out to walk over. I am sure you remember what a night out with the Monte Consortium is like so please show mercy!!

Do you know what stand number / hall the Beta stand is in please?  I'd like to drop by to say hi and have a look see, but I have to help man my own club's stand too, and know from experience how hard it can be to see everything else if you just wander about!  I'll only be up there for a day, probably Friday.

Nice to see the Betas on the stand at the NEC on Friday.  Unfortunately when I dropped by most of the BetaBoyz people were off in a meeting, but there was a friendly chap (whose name I am afraid I have forgotten but he owned the red coupé) manning the stand who was very helpful and had some useful tips about Beta ownership, so many thanks.

Another NEC over and a great success Cheesy

Many Thanks to Amanda and Steve for bringing their mint VX Coupe

Miles and Louise with their eye catching Spider, and Mark Wastnidge for his superb S3 Berlina.

Sadly Phil Edwards’s Coupe could not make it in his early Coupe

Thanks to everyone that helped out on the stand over the 3 days it was really appreciated, and everyone that came over and to say hello
it was good to put more faces to names, sorry we missed you Tog.

Also thanks to the Monte Carlo Consortium, as always you were all such good entertainment Wink
You guys know how to party, and still laughing from your antics.

Thanks to the LMC for again supplying the carpet, this makes a huge difference and really finishes of the display.

Lastly thanks go to all who supplied photos for the wall, a massive success and which were going to continue for next years 40th anniversary (so keep them coming).
A member of the public spotted a photo of his old Beta Coupe and has lots of restoration photos, which at the time decided to keep, he is happy to pass these to the current owner.

my photos can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tonysphotos/sets/72157628128294558/
