I use one on the Gamma, you may need to fit a cold air supply and the mixture
will need adjusting to compensate for the additional air.

I've used one on my 2000 DATR Spyder for 15 years without any problems.  You'll have to modify the base to take a connection to the crankcase breather.   Standard 22mm plumbing fittings will do this.

I am planning the same for my '78 spider, but am hesitant because of having to adjust the mixture. All the adjustment screws are blanked off with plugs from the factory and I don't know where to begin.
As for the crankcase breather, I planned to fit a catch tank and one of K&N's breather filters.
On the subject of fuel, do I need a lead additive and/or octane booster in my fuel?
Hoping to have the car on the road in about 2 weeks and don't want extra problems.
All advice welcome.
hanks folks.

Hi droptop,
Beta engine should go with a 98RON fuel..
For adjusting the mixture, you don't have to screw or unscrew nothing that is blanked off..
If the car don't go well after change of filter, the only screws that you have to change are primary and secondary main jets, air jets.
Those 4 screw (with 6 jets) are located inside the air filtering housing

I'd be interested if you went ahead with this filter and how significant the difference was? Did you also fit the catch tank and filter? Any photos much appreciated
