Title: beta sales brochures/literature
Post by: rossocorsa on February 20, 2010, 11:48:59 AM
for many years I collected sales literature and models of Lancias, as my priorities changed I ended up selling off most of my stuff on ebay but I decided to keep and focus on the Beta and specifically the front wheel drive cars only. I bought 'Lancia 70 years of trail blazing' recently which kind of helps as a substitute for the lack of my collection but that only covers the pre-Fiat cars which kind of set me off thinking and I've photographed the front of all the Beta related stuff I have, thought it might be interesting for others to see the breath of material they produced this is probably just the tip of the iceberg as I know there are things I don't have for instance the Beta HIFi brochure (always a bit pricey on ebay when they come up). Anyway one of these days I may well scan the contents of a few of these and post that as well

here's the link slide show (100 image limit so some missing)

A very impressive collection indeed. Is the item 108 (http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww247/rossocorsa/lancia%20beta%20brochures/DSCF0394.jpg (http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww247/rossocorsa/lancia%20beta%20brochures/DSCF0394.jpg)) a brochure or just a poster? I haven't seen this one before - obviously a very early Beta publication.

Carl.

it's a German market brochure, German Beta brochures often seem to be different for instance the series 2 FL brochures look very similar as far as cover design goes to the usual ones but have different photography inside, this probably due to German market cars having 'L' cloth upholstery

this one is the only proper Italian printed full (as opposed to a fold out single sheet version) Volumex coupé brochure I've come across it's in French but was no doubt also printed in English...I'm still looking for that!!
