Title: Coupe Front Wing Support??
Post by: donaldb7 on August 18, 2021, 11:15:22 PM
Hey all,

Taken the wings off my coupe to fully assess the damage of the rust and found some sort of wing support that I imagine used to be attached to the car properly, but is only now held on by underseal. Seems to be a weak point on both sides of the car and has had some *godawful* repair done to it in the past, that looks like it involved expanding foam??? Any ideas where to track two of these down/what its even called so that I can look into it? Is it something that will need to be fabricated?

Many thanks

Donald

Hi Donald

Sadly no idea where to get them. As you probably know they fit at the rear of the front wings and get all the crud thrown up at them unless you have the later plastic wheel arch liners. My guys reproduced them as mine were also shot. I may have a photo of the ones they made.

Hey Peter,

A photo would be much appreciated if you can dig it out, as mine are so shot, its difficult to tell what the shape is even suppose to be!

Cheers
