Title: Yet another newbie
Post by: Sledgewomble on September 13, 2009, 07:17:58 PM
Just got hold of my first Lancia Beta Coupe (S2 1.6).

It's in excellent condition (40k miles, all original, stereo never fitted) and I want to make sure it stays that way.  Apparently she was featured on the Top Gear Stand in the Classic Car show in 1995.

Any pointers?

any pictures ? lovely engine the 1.6 so revvy bit short on power for a heavy berlina but a very nice balance in a somewhat lighter coupé much smoother than a 2.0

nice looking car great colour for a beta suits it very well and makes a change from red, grey or silver which seem to be common on most survivors. looks very original

Welcome Sledge,

Indeed another very nice example of a Beta Coupe.  Good to see the quality cars coming out of the woodwork so to speak.

The 1600 was always my favorite engine, even though I have a 2.0 I still prefer the 1.6 in a Coupe
