Title: Beta Saloon in The Telegraph 29th August 2018
Post by: johnb on September 30, 2018, 11:54:42 AM
Hi everyone
Please see this feature on the Beta Saloon featured in The Telegraph a few weeks ago.
It features James Ross Sinclair's very nice Saloon.

Good article  - I particularly like the link to the ITN news footage. In one of the showroom bits you can clearly see a spider with a 'SPYDER' number plate.

A dreadful bit of PR too - 'We hope this has eliminated the problem but I would be foolish to categorically state that it will never happen again'. Technically true perhaps but...

Yes shocking PR...filmed in a car park, looked unprepared and no clarity on the steps taken and that the issue has been fixed at the factory. The beginning of the end for Lancia in the UK captured in one report on a much viewed news programme.
