Title: Beta Coupe engine identify Post by: DeXiTroN on November 22, 2017, 11:29:46 PM Hello, Im in the process of pulling the head off and doing up what I believe is a 2.0L Motor for a 78 Beta Coupe.
I am in Australia and have searched forums far and wide for the engine number below.. Can someone please confirm the litre of this engine for me pleasE?? 828 AB 1A0 823406859 Im terribly sorry if this has been mentioned anywhere - I did a search in the search bar for this number and no results. We pulled the head off yesterday and the motor is cactus!
Title: Re: Beta Coupe engine identify Post by: rossocorsa on November 23, 2017, 11:05:11 PM I think it is 2 litre but I'm not sure, 2 litre would be 828 B1.000. once the head is off it's not difficult to measure the stroke and bore and know for sure.

DON'T SCRAP IT. these are the best engines! Title: Re: Beta Coupe engine identify Post by: Aureliab20gt on November 24, 2017, 08:44:44 AM it's engine number should be pre fixed with AC 1000 if a coupe/spider engine. Not sure why you have 823406859 though. My part number doesn't have the 4 in it
