Title: Is this inlet suitable for Beta?
Post by: peteracs on February 03, 2015, 11:53:24 AM
Hi All

I saw this on Ebay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231468907319?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231468907319?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)

It says for Fiat, so that would most likely mean 124/131 etc, but on this I would have expected the flanges to be parallel to each other? Here the flanges are slightly at an angle, hence wondered if it was more suited to Beta etc where the engine is inclined. I could not see any numbers on it and am not on the GC forum, so thought I would ask here as there may be one of you after one of these if it fits....

Peter

That is a Guy Croft Montecarlo twin Side Draft manifold for a 20% tilt engine WITHOUT a block mounted distributor I own one of these. It would need a cam driven Dizzy on a beta or distributor less ignition.

Cheers
