Title: 1300 saloon back on the road
Post by: James on August 23, 2014, 12:36:42 AM
Dear all

As some of you might know, we have a 1978 Beta 1300 saloon that has been off the road for many years

Yesterday it passed it's first MOT in 18 years with no advisories

And today I went to collect it, and drove it for the first time

I thought I would post some pictures here for you all to see- Another Beta returns to the road!

Best wishes
James

Looks very tidy - great to see another back on the road.

Not that I think it's a bad thing but where DO they keep coming from?

Hi James, nice to see pictures of your sedan, the supplying dealer was my Fathers garage, Golf Garage in Foxhall Road Ipswich, very few from his dealership seemed to have survived, interested to know if you got it from the Ipswich area etc. I have very fond memories of being picked up from School in various Lancia models
Looking for a nice Beta again now if you hear of one, will have to find some photographs of my Dads premises & post them.
Many thanks Ian Markin.
